I was born 1971 in Essen. My birthday is the same as of Albrecht Duerer, Gaspard Gustave de Coriolis, Edouard Jean-Baptiste Goursat, king Phillip II of Spain, Andrej Sacharow, Alexander Pope, Henri Rousseau, Elizabeth Fry, Fats Waller and Robert Montgomery. Plato is also said to have been born that day - May 21.

 

I live in Zagreb since 1974. Here I went to school and also studied mathematics. I graduated in 1994 as engineer of maths (focus: statistics and informatics), and made my PhD in 2002 in operator theory.
